Following the sudden death of Dick Hickton from a Heart attack late last year a group of us, including Dick’s son Jon, decided to take on the challenge of riding the length of the country in an effort to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and to do our bit to reduce the number of deaths from Britain's biggest killer.
Specifically we are raising money to buy mobile defibrillators that can be placed in busy public places such as train stations or shopping centres that can be used to treat cardiac arrest.
Each machine costs £1200 and we are hoping to raise enough money to purchase fifteen machines.
Please help us to achieve our goal.
